CVS restocked their Black Radiance display so I was finally able to get my hands on the 8-pan palette in Downtown Browns. I haven’t tried it yet but the colors look gorgeous and although it’s probably premature I’m already thinking about getting the 8-pan in Urban Jungle.
Wet n Wild’s Silent Treatment trio is loved by many but strangely it’s one of the few trios I didn’t own until recently. Can’t wait to give it a go!
I’ve never purchased any of the e.l.f. Beauty Books but I spotted the Natural Eye Holiday 2012 palette among the holiday kits at Walgreens the other day and decided to give it a shot.
My biggest purchases were made during the Sephora Beauty Insider sale. I had my heart set on getting the LORAC Pro palette but it went out of stock just before I placed my order so I got the Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes and the LORAC Unzipped palette instead. I still plan on getting the LORAC Pro palette with a gift card I won from Makeup and Beauty Blog the next time Sephora runs another big sale but I’m super excited to play around with my new palettes from Sephora in the meantime.
And, lastly, it’s not a palette but I’ve been hearing/reading a ton of raves on various message boards and YouTube about Trader Joe’s Coconut Body Butter. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try since it’s only $5. Initital impression: I prefer the smell of this to The Body Shop’s Coconut Body Butter. TBS’s Coconut smells fruity (almost apple-y) compared to TJ’s which smells like a vanilla coconut confection.
On a side note, Trader Joe’s is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shop. I’m not especially into a healthy/organic/vegan/vegetarian lifestyle — I’m an omnivore and I’ll eat anything and everything — but they’ve got such an interesting variety of foods and products.
